About Us
From the City to the Village, From Wood to Wonder
I was the first from my remote village to graduate from university, spending a decade in the city’s high-pressure tech world. In 2023, following an unexpected layoff, I returned to my roots. It was there I rediscovered my uncle—a man who, despite relying on crutches every day, outpaced us all with his unyielding spirit and his hands.
My uncle earned his living by carving wood. Watching him work, I realized that his resilience was the soul of our village. I saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between these talented local artisans—especially those facing physical challenges—and the rest of the world.
That was the birth of FUNACRYLIC.
We operate as a community collective. By partnering directly with my neighbors and prioritizing opportunities for the disabled, we’ve created a sustainable way for our village to share its craftsmanship.
Please Note: Because each piece is individually hand-carved by our village artisans, our production is limited and each item is uniquely yours. Unlike mass-produced factory goods, our kits carry the character of the wood and the hands that shaped them.
While our legal headquarters is in the USA (FUSIONPULSE LLC), every order is a direct bridge to our village workshop, supporting fair wages and stable lives for our craftspeople.
We are small, we are united, and we believe that through art, life always gets better.
We aren't just selling DIY kits; we are sharing a piece of our home’s resilience with yours.
